I'm one of those who gets all wrapped up in the "how in the world am I going to accomplish this?" frenzy and freak out looking at the whole picture! lol

What really bothered me is the need for expensive kitchen tools that I cannot afford right now. Economy and all having reduced my household income by half, that is just not in the immediate future. That bummed me out quite a bit.

On the plus side, I have started working with easy raw salads, chia pudding, raw scones, etc., working with breakfast and lunch first as you talked about above. Not 100% there yet with either meal - I have meal planning issues - but I'm working on it.

I plan to keep reading your blog and learning all I can! Thanks for providing a real-world approach!

Re: Raw Food Transition

Nice to read a more realistic, down to earth blog on starting raw. I was seeing it as a huge wall to climb. :)

Re: Raw Food Transition

I just have to say it... You're Beautiful.

Thank you for your sharing your journey to raw foods. I'm glad I found your sites. (I found you through Twitter, btw.) I will keep in touch with the valuable information you have to share.

I've been transitioning myself to more of a raw food diet right now. I'm loving it, actually. I'm also doing it with an intention in mind for "Discipline." Because eating this way is not only incredibly great, but also disciplining, with its own challenges along the way.

So, I am incredibly glad to be enjoying this process to raw foods. But I will admit... I'm still allowing the sushi! ;-) But I just love it!

I truly wish the most abundance and greatness in your life. Thank you for bringing more to mine.

Kayla

Re: Raw Food Transition

Hi Justin,
I definately agree with you! The elusive 100% can be a trap if you're not ready or willing. Thank you for sharing your approach, I think it will help many people transition slowly, but steadily to a healthier diet.
